Dua Lipa surprised the audience at the Academy of Country Music Awards by performing with Chris Stapleton.
The pop star made an unexpected appearance at the country music show, which was held at the Ford Theater at the Star in Frisco, Texas on Thursday night.
The performance began with the New Rules hitmaker singing his 2023 track Think I'm in Love With You by herself before Chris walked onto the stage and joined her for a duet.
In an interview with Billboard, Dua revealed that she reached out to the country music star about a live collaboration because she is "a massive fan" of his.
The 28-year-old told the outlet that it had been "absolutely incredible" spending a few days working with Chris and his band and "brainstorming ideas on how we can reimagine the song".
On keeping the duet a secret, she added, "I think we were all so in on making sure this stays a surprise, to make the moment even more special. I don't know how we did it (but) I'm glad we did it because it was really special when it happened tonight on stage. It's always fun like that."
Her country collaborator had a big night at the ACM Awards, taking home three awards - Artist-Songwriter of the Year, Male Artist of the Year and Album of the Year for Higher.
His haul was matched by Lainey Wilson, who took home accolades for Entertainer of the Year, Female Artist of the Year and Music Event of the Year for Save Me with Jelly Roll.
Dua wasn't the only non-country star to hit the stage during the ceremony - Post Malone debuted a new country song before playing his current hit I Had Some Help and performing a cover of The Allman Brothers Band's Ramblin' Man with show host Reba McEntire.
In addition, Avril Lavigne joined Nate Smith for the live debut of their collaboration Bulletproof.
