Well Montreal, all good things must come to an end… Just like Montreal’s most beloved game: The Beat FX!
Over the past few weeks, we've been playing a few mystery sounds that had all of Montreal dropping whatever they were doing and turning up the radio to figure out exactly what the winning jackpot sound was…
From Monday to Friday throughout the entire month of May, we played the sound four times a day and all you had to do was guess the sound to WIN the growing jackpot!
…And for a while there, it seemed like our first sound was going to be impossible to answer correctly. Until our first lucky winner, Adam, changed his guess at the very last minute on The Morning Show!
That’s right, Adam from Laval won a record-breaking $14,250 after guessing our first mystery sound which was the sound: Squeezing a spray bottle! This winning sound was the highest jackpot that a Montrealer has ever won in Beat FX history! No joke!
…And let’s say the reactions in the studio were PRICELESS!
Adam came to visit the studio with his lovely family a few days later to talk about how he felt after winning that huge jackpot!

Following Adam’s win, Sandra from Laval won $4,000 after guessing our second mystery sound correctly: Opening a jar!

And finally, Sarah from Beauharnois won $3,500 after guessing our final mystery sound correctly on Meghan Kelly’s show… The answer, of course, was: A bike wheel rotating!
