Have you strolled through downtown Montreal recently and been captivated by those towering pink figures? Ever wondered what they are?
Well, they are called "Monsieur Rose" (Mr. Pink), a series of public artworks crafted by French artist Philippe Katerine.
Appearing across the city earlier this month, these striking pink sculptures will grace Montreal's streets until September 29, 2024. Standing as tall as 2.7 meters and crafted from resin, these sculptures embody simplicity and inspire wonderment in the mundane, according to the artist's vision.
You can encounter "Monsieur Rose" in various locations, including the Quartier des Spectacles, the Centre Eaton de Montréal, and beneath the Ring on the Esplanade PVM.
