Megan Thee Stallion is set to host 2024 MTV Video Music Awards.
It was revealed on Thursday that the rapper will host this year's MTV VMAs, which will be broadcast live from the UBS Arena in New York on 11 September.
As well as hosting, Megan is up for five awards at the event, including Best Hip-Hop and Best Collaboration, which she shares with rapper GloRilla. The artist has previously won two VMAs, including Best Hip-Hop in 2020.
Megan previously performed on the MTV VMAs 2019 pre-show before making the leap to hosting the main show, becoming the second artist to do so.
The HISS rapper follows Nicki Minaj, who performed on the pre-show in 2010 and co-hosted the main show in 2022. She then hosted the event solo in 2023.
The news comes two months after the Hot Girl Summer hitmaker released her third album, Megan, which features collaborations with the likes of GloRilla, Victoria Monet, Kyle Rich and more.
Megan is currently on her first ever headlining tour, the Hot Girl Summer Tour, which kicked off in May and concludes on 26 September.
Taylor Swift leads this year's VMA nominees with 10 nods, followed by Post Malone with nine and Sabrina Carpenter and Ariana Grande with six each.
Artists set to perform at the show include Lenny Kravitz, Chappell Roan, Halsey, Benson Boone, Camila Cabello, Blackpink's Lisa and more.
