It’s officially the end of an era in Montreal. After 63 years of serving downtown locals, Peel Pub has shut its doors for good.

Over the weekend, a bankruptcy notice was spotted on the front entrance of the beloved bar.

Known as a go-to spot for watching sports and catching stand-up comedy nights, Peel Pub was a longtime favourite for students and downtown workers alike.
