With grocery prices skyrocketing, food banks across Quebec are seeing an overwhelming demand—over one million more requests each month compared to 2021 levels.

According to the Food Banks of Quebec, nearly 2.9 million households are now seeking assistance every month. In response to this record-breaking need, the provincial government has pledged an additional $40 million to support Food Banks of Quebec over the next two years.

Moisson Montréal emphasizes that every donation, big or small, makes a significant impact in their mission to help those in need.
