Over Half of Montreal’s Snow Has Been Cleared—Here’s the Latest

We know—it feels like all we talk about is snow. And, well, it’s everywhere! But there’s some good news.

Montreal has reported that about 58% of the snow removal operation has been completed.

On Monday morning, Montreal Mayor Valérie Plante provided an update on the progress and announced that trash collection would resume.

Plante believes the city's efforts are going well overall and thanked Montrealers for their patience.

The city received about 72 cm of snow over four days last weekend.
