While we’re still surrounded by mountains of snow, Mother Nature is offering a taste of milder weather this week—though it won’t come without its drawbacks.
Temperatures will rise to around 5–6°C on Wednesday and Thursday, but they’ll be accompanied by rain. In fact, we can expect between 15 and 25 millimeters of rainfall by Thursday.
According to Environment Canada, the combination of rain and lingering snow brings a risk of freezing rain on Wednesday morning before temperatures climb and the rain takes over.
