While we often worry about snowstorms, last night’s powerful storm across the province proved that other types of weather can be just as disruptive.

At the time of writing, more than 60,000 Hydro-Québec customers remain without power.

The hardest-hit regions include the Laurentians (16,367 outages), Montérégie (12,561), Outaouais (10,145), and Montreal (6,569).

Hydro-Québec says over 500 crews are currently working on the ground to restore service as quickly as possible.

You can check the latest outage status by region over here.
