Great news for Montreal! It has been officially announced that the F1 Canadian Grand Prix will remain in the city until 2035.
The exciting news was confirmed Tuesday morning by the City of Montreal, the governments of Quebec and Canada, Tourisme Montréal, the Société du Parc Jean-Drapeau, and the Grand Prix’s private partners.
The announcement follows a hugely successful Grand Prix weekend, which drew around 352,000 spectators to the city.
Starting next year, in 2026, the race will take place from May 22 to 24—timed to kick off the summer tourist season “with a bang,” according to officials.
