Another Heat Warning Issued In Montreal

As if the past few days in Montreal weren’t already extremely warm… it’s about to get even hotter!

Environment Canada has issued a heat warning for the next few days, with temperatures expected to range between 30°C and 34°C — and feel as high as 40°C with the humidex.

The warning remains in effect until Tuesday, with some relief expected starting Wednesday.

Environment Canada reminds residents that extreme heat can impact everyone’s health. Check in on older adults, people living alone, and other vulnerable individuals.

Stay safe by drinking water regularly (before you feel thirsty), closing blinds or shades to block out the sun, and using air conditioning if possible.

If your home becomes too hot, consider visiting a cool public space such as a cooling centre, shopping mall, or library.
