Another strike within the STM has been announced, this time involving the transit agency’s 4,500 bus drivers and metro operators, who will take a stand in November.

Unionized employees are scheduled to walk off the job on November 1, 8, and 9, while paratransit services will continue to operate.

This will mark the first strike involving these parties in nearly 40 years.

The union is demanding better work schedules and an end to unpaid work.

At the same time, STM maintenance workers are also set to strike for a third time this year, starting October 31, 2025.

More details on how the strike will impact Montrealers are expected soon.
