Following the announcement of a planned strike in November, the Société de transport de Montréal (STM) has shared its official schedule outlining when bus and metro services will be available to users.
Here’s the official schedule released by the STM:
Metro:
Throughout the week, the metro will open at 6:30 a.m. and operate only during the following hours:
- 6:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
- 2:45 p.m. to 5:45 p.m.
- 11:00 p.m. until closing time
On Saturdays, the metro will only be open from 11:00 p.m. until closing time.
Buses:
Bus service will follow a similar schedule, with regular service from:
- 6:15 a.m. to 9:15 a.m.
- 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- 11:15 p.m. to 1:15 a.m.
Paratransit:
Paratransit service will operate normally from November 1 to 28.
The STM has yet to confirm how the strike by bus drivers and metro operators will affect service on November 1, 15, and 16.

According to the union representing STM maintenance workers, employees plan to strike every day throughout November, including municipal election day on November 2. During that day, service will only run during peak hours.
