Well Montreal, we can’t believe our 2025 Raise Craze campaign has come to an end… and what a wild few months it has been.
After raising an incredible total of $161,453, we’re still feeling the impact of the amazing generosity from our community.
Our Raise Craze journey kicked off this summer with our Pilates in the Park series, which ran over three months. Each first Wednesday of June, July, and August, we gathered in different parks across Montreal with Beat listeners for a fun Pilates session hosted by Moving Just Fine Pilates.
Entry was by donation to the MUHC Foundation, and for donations of $50 or more, listeners received a candle from Smellies Scents.
We noticed how much everyone enjoyed moving for a cause, so we decided to keep the momentum going with even more fitness events to raise money for the MUHC Foundation.
In early September, we hosted a Bootcamp session at Blackout Fitness Rooftop. Working out with a stunning view of Montreal was a memorable experience for our listeners.
Later that month, we held an all-women’s boxing class at Donnybrook Boxing West Island, led by coach Emerson Turnier and professional boxer Jessica Camara.
All of these events led up to our October Raise Craze, which started with Lee dyeing his hair pink for the second year in a row to raise awareness for the campaign.
Listeners were also invited to join Lee in shaving their heads for breast cancer research during our live broadcast on October 30, after raising a minimum of $1,000.
Meanwhile, Claudia and Natasha hosted an on-air raffle where anyone who donated $100 or more was entered to win one of the following prizes:
- O Way Spa gift package — haircut, blowdry, organic hair colour, treatment, and scalp massage
- Magazine-style photoshoot for two at La Luz Portraits, complete with professional hair, makeup, and the Black Label Package (30 prints in a keepsake folio box), with Claudia and Natasha cheering behind the scenes
- Brunch and wine tasting at La Bullerie for two, joined by Claudia, Natasha, and Kim Kieran, with luxury limo service from Allante Limousines
- A pair of tickets to see Ariana Grande at the Bell Centre on July 28, 2026
- Ultimate staycation experience at Ritz-Carlton Montreal — two-night stay in a Junior Suite with breakfast, dinner at Maison Boulud ($400 gift certificate), and high tea with Claudia and Natasha

All of this led up to our live broadcast directly from the MUHC. Many of you joined us in person, where we also had the chance to interview Alyssa Morellato, Dr. Meterissian, Marie-Hélène Laramée, and, of course, reveal the total amount that was raised.
And of course, Lee stayed true to his word and shaved his head, along with Shayne from Ye Olde Orchard Pub & Grill in Chateauguay, who volunteered to show his support.
All of this couldn’t have been possible without all of your support, Montreal. We are incredibly blessed for the community that we have been lucky enough to build and we know that this amount that we were able to raise will contribute to beating Breast Cancer once and for all.
