Montreal being named one of the coolest places in the world isn’t exactly new — and honestly, we’ll take the compliment every time. But this latest shoutout might catch a few people off guard…
Time Out has officially released its list of the 31 coolest streets in the world, and guess which Montreal staple cracked the top five? Sherbrooke Street West.
Yup, our very own Sherbrooke W. made the global list. According to Time Out, the street truly shines in the heart of the Golden Square Mile, thanks to its iconic historic architecture, cultural institutions, and the city’s top museums and galleries.
They even describe it as a 300-year-old east–west artery that locals often overlook simply because it’s always been part of the city’s landscape, but in reality, it’s one of Montreal’s most culturally rich streets.
