Following the 15 cm of snow that covered the city last night, the City of Montreal has announced its sixth snow removal operation of the 2025-2026 season, beginning at 7:00 PM tonight, Thursday, February 26.

Roughly 3,000 workers and 2,500 vehicles will be deployed to clear 11,000 kilometres of city streets.

To ensure the operation runs smoothly, temporary parking restrictions will be in effect. To avoid any unpleasant surprises, residents are encouraged to use the 311 Montreal mobile app. The app allows you to track snow removal in real-time, receive alerts, and report issues like slippery sidewalks or potholes.
