More than 25,000 households without power in Montreal

The much-anticipated freezing rain storm finally reached the city late Wednesday afternoon. As expected, many households are waking up without power this morning in Montreal.

As of this writing, over 200,000 customers across Quebec are affected, with Montreal being the hardest-hit city at approximately 27,872 addresses without electricity.

The Outaouais follows as the second most impacted region with 25,686 outages, followed by the Laurentides with 23,931 addresses.
