Two Dead, 31 Injured After Air Canada Jet Collides With Fire Truck at LaGuardia

Tragic news coming from New York’s LaGuardia Airport on Sunday night when an Air Canada regional jet collided with a fire truck on the runway shortly after landing. Officials have confirmed that both the pilot and co-pilot, both Canadian-based, were killed in the crash.

Emergency services transported 31 passengers and crew members to local hospitals. To facilitate a full investigation, LaGuardia Airport will remain closed until at least 2:00 PM on Monday.
