Starting this summer, buying your favorite lottery tickets will be easier than ever. Loto-Québec is introducing self-service purchasing at checkout lanes in major retailers, including Maxi, Walmart, and Costco.
You will have the option to add games like Lotto 6/49 or Lotto Max directly to your transaction at the checkout terminal, and your tickets will print right on your receipt.
Robust age-verification measures will be in place to ensure all buyers are of legal age.
This new system is designed to complement the traditional blue lottery terminals currently used in convenience stores and other retail locations.
