Ella Langely's hit song Choosin' Texas has broken the record for the longest stint at No. 1 for a non-holiday pop single.
The country tune has racked up a 20th week at the top of the US pop singles chart.
Mariah Carey's All I Want for Christmas Is You holds the overall record with 22 weeks at the top, which includes chart-topping runs over the past seven festive seasons.
Choosin' Texas first reached No. 1 back in February before it was dethroned for two weeks. It then climbed back to the top for a week, falling back again before retaking the crown in early July. The song that Langley sings and co-wrote with Miranda Lambert and Joybeth Taylor has been there ever since.
"This genuinely has shocked me to my core," Langley told Backstage Country in June.
"I was talking to Miranda the other night. I mean, this is groundbreaking territory for all of us, all the writers on the song, everyone included. And it's just crazy to see how many different people love this song, and why they love this song."
Choosin' Texas this week broke the tie with Lil Nas X's Old Town Road featuring Billy Ray Cyrus, which now sits in third spot on the longest-running chart-toppers list with 19 weeks.
Certified six times platinum, Langley's track has also spent 28 weeks atop Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart. It peaked at No. 3 on the UK chart in August.
