Prime Minister Justin Trudeau just announced a 350 million dollar Emergency Relief Fund to help community and nonprofit organizations get much needed resources. He also announced the launch of an Emergency wage subsidy calculator on the CRA website that will help businesses figure out how much they can get, and some good news, business can apply for the Emergency Wage Subsidy as of Monday April 27th.

Federal Prisons in Quebec are starting to experience outbreaks of COVID19. More than 100 inmates and 90 employees have tested positive in the province. So far, inmate cases seem to be concentrated in three facilities. The Training Centre in Laval, the Joliette Institution, and the Port-Cartier Institution near Sept-Iles.
