Despite the pandemic and the curfew, the sixty-seventh edition of Quebec City's Winter Carnival will go on, but with major changes.
The curfew and physical distancing measures will be enforced, Bonhomme Carnaval will be there, but activities that draw big crowds or line ups will not, so no parade or ice palace.
To get people out and exploring Carnival-inspired artwork will be spread across the city, things like giant snow and ice sculptures and some of the festivities will be online, look for family-friendly programming on the Carnival YouTube channel.
