We would never want to shame anyone but sometimes we can’t help but wonder what someone is thinking.
Take for example, this groom who has been facing harsh criticism online after his wife shared a video showing him checking his phone as she walked down the aisle on their big day.
Taylor Loren, from Vancouver, took to TikTok to share the clip from her wedding four years ago writing, “eFour years ago today I walked down the aisle to marry the love of my life. It was one of the most important & emotional moments of our life - and my husband did the most romantic thing...
He checked his phone.”
The video has since racked up more than 2.3M views with many people outraged with the groom's behaviour.
Taylor said she wasn't upset, writing: “He was sooooo nervous! I thought it was funny.”
We watched the video several times and it seems his action was somewhat instinctual. Perhaps he was checking to see if his phone was on silent? Taylor did say that her now-husband saved his vows on his phone, so maybe he was double-checking to make sure he was ready for the big moment?
Perhaps the bigger question here is why would she take to social media four years after the day and humiliate her husband?
