Calling all air fryer fans… You might want to reconsider!

A total of 138,570 air fryers sold in Canada have been recalled due to a potential fire hazard that many other consumers have already experienced.

To be specific, Health Canada has issued a recall for Insignia Digital Air Fryers, Insignia Analog Air Fryers, and Insignia Digital Air Fryer Oven.

According to the government’s website, consumers should stop using their product immediately if their item matches the model number list below:

“As of March 25, the company has received 36 reports of incidents, including one report of minor injury in Canada. In the US, it has identified 68 reports of incidents with one report of minor injury,” reports Daily Hive.

For clients that purchased their air fryers at Best Buy Canada, you can return the item for a refund in the form of store credit.
