Buckingham Palace has shared concern with Queen Elizabeth II’s health.

News of Her Majesty’s health comes after the cancellation of her Privy Council meeting and was told to rest. While the meeting has been set to a later date, Queen Elizabeth II is currently under medical supervision with her doctors at Balmoral Castle in Scotland.

According to to CBC News, “The Queen, Britain's longest-reigning sovereign and the world's oldest monarch, has been suffering from what Buckingham Palace has called "episodic mobility problems" since the end of last year.”

While no official statements have been made in regards to the condition of her health, reports say that her son Prince Charles and his wife, Camilla, and sister, Princess Anne are currently by her side, with grandchildren arriving by plane.

Earlier this year, Queen Elizabeth II marked seven decades on the throne.

Our deepest thoughts and prayers are with the people of the United Kingdom.

This is a developing story.
