When it comes to finding the perfect partner, what is it that men truly want in a significant other?
While everyone has their own personal needs and desires when it comes to love, we wanted to know the main interests that men share… And according to Match.com, looks don’t make it to the top of the list.
Despite Hollywood and society making it seem to be the case 99% of the time, men desire (and need) a lot more than a pretty face to look at. Although, being physically attracted to your partner is an important part too.
The dating site surveyed five thousand single men, and here is what the results had to say when it came to the question: What do men look for in a partner?
98% of men want someone that will treat them with respect. This is a given in any relationship. Without respect, how can there be love?
97% of men want someone that they can trust and confide in. The key to a successful and loving relationship is trust. Your partner should be your safe haven, not a place where you walk on eggshells.
95% of men want someone that is comfortable communicating their wants and needs. Healthy communication is always the answer. No one likes the guessing game.
91% of men want someone with a good sense of humor. You want to have fun with your partner! Let’s have a good time together and make each other laugh, yeah?
