A study in the UK revealed that 61 percent of women are happy being single, in comparison to 49 percent of men. It also revealed that 75 percent of single women haven't been actively searching for a partner in the past year.
The question is, why are women happier single? The same study revealed that women feel they have to put in more effort in relationships than men, therefore making more sacrifices.
Being single amounts to more time dedicated to taking care of yourself, hanging out with friends, pursuing your career goals, and more. But some women believe that all this can be done while also maintaining a healthy romantic relationship.
