The 65th Grammy Awards brought us nothing but gush, obsession, and, we'll even say, a little bit of lust over the talented musicians and creators present.
At the top of the list was the one and only: Beyonce. She came in the long- awaited award show with no less than 9 nominations! The pop icon and her husband, hip-hop singer Jay-Z, marked history this year, both tying for artists with the most Grammy nominations (a whole 88 of them to be exact). The 'Renaissance' star brought home wins in 4 categories: Best Dance/Electronic Recording, Best Dance/Electronic Music Album, Best Traditional R&B Performance, and Best R&B Song.

Not far behind her, Kendrick Lamar lead with 8 nominations, Adele and Brandi Carlile with 7, and Harry Styles, Mary J. Blige, Future, DJ Khaled and producer songwriter The Dream with 6 each.
One thing is for sure: Canadian artists showed up last night and did not disappoint! Among Canadian creators, Drake, Michael Bublé, and singer-songwriter to stars like Adele and Harry Styles,Tobias Jesso Jr., each took home the gold. Yannick Nézet-Séguin, Montreal pianist and conductor, also returned home with not one, but two grammies (you might have seen him perform at the Orchestre Métropolitain this summer!)
