Montreal home sales experienced a real low last year. With COVID-19 remains and inflation in the way, home seekers are having a hard time finding houses that meet their budget.
The Quebec Professional Association of Real Estate Brokers have even said Montreal's home sales have seen a significant drop last month compared to 2022.
From February 2022 to February 2023, home sales in Montreal have experienced a 32 percent drop, with a difference of 1,379 homes sold. It's important to note that most Montreal homes are being sold for their listed price of above.
The median price for a single-family home in February was $515,000, where condos revealed a median price of $380,000.
