Did you catch the Canadian Junos Awards yesterday? Then you must have seen this happen...

Avril Lavigne was called on stage yesterday to present a performance by Punjabi-Canadian singer and rapper AP Dhillon. But before she could do so, the 'Sk8er Boi' singer got interrupted.

In fact, what appeared to be a topless protester climbed to the stage at that moment, with the words 'land back' inscribed on one of her arms. 'Save the green belt' could also be seen inscribed on the protester's back.

Lavigne's reaction was quite the stunner, as she swore at the protester and revealed her 'annoyingness' surrounding the event. It wasn't long before the protester was ecorted off-stage by security members.

When Lavigne returned to the stage a few moments later to accept this year's fan choice award, the pop star said, "Nobody try anything this time or the Canadian is going to come out of me and I'll (mess) a b---- up."

Do you think this was an appropriate reaction from Avril Lavigne? Would you have acted any differently?
