If you too, still feel the effects of Montreal's recent freezing rain storm that wiped out millions of the town's homes from power, we feel ya. Good news, though! We're here to tell you that you could be receiving monetary compensation.

For those who lost power for more than 24 hours during the recent spring storm, the Quebec Government could be rewarding you with up to $75 for any food loss (with up to $300 per household). 

There's a catch though. For those wishing to benefit from this compensation, you must be enrolled in a social assistance program.
