Lil Uzi Vert removed from Rolling Loud following line-up dispute

Lil Uzi Vert has been removed from the Rolling Loud California line-up.

In a Tuesday Instagram post, the Just Wanna Rock rapper responded to an advertisement for Rolling Loud California which listed them as a headliner.

"I never said I was doing rolling loud," Uzi wrote. "Don't understand why my name is on here."

Hours later, an update appeared on the festival's official social media channels. It announced Future and Metro Boomin' as replacement headliners.

The festival has been scheduled for 15-17 March next year, hosted at Hollywood Park Grounds in Inglewood, California. The line-up also included Nicki Minaj, Post Malone, Summer Walker, Sexyy Red, Don Toliver, and for the first time, música Mexicana artists including Fuerza Regida and Natanael Cano.

Rolling Loud first launched in 2015, founded by Matt Ziegler and Tariq Cherif.

Uzi is currently touring in support of their latest album Pink Tape. The tour, marking the rapper's first since 2018, is set to close on 22 November at Philadelphia's Wells Fargo Center.
