The Montreal Alouettes are Grey Cup champs!

After a slow start to the season, the Als claimed the league championship Sunday night in Hamilton against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers with a come from behind 28-24 win.

Fans were treated to a half time show starring Green Day performing a four song set including Holiday, Boulevard Of Broken Dreams, Basket Case and their new song The American Dream Is Killing Me. Simone Soman of Waterdown, Ont., sang "O Canada" prior to kickoff. The visually impaired singer made it to the semifinals on the second season of "Canada's Got Talent."

This marks the Alouettes’ first CFL title since 2010 and their eighth in franchise history.
