Paris Hilton has revealed that she cried after reading what Britney Spears wrote about her in her memoir.

The media personality has responded to what the Toxic hitmaker wrote in her recently released memoir, The Woman in Me.

In the tell-all memoir, Britney wrote, “One of the people who was kindest to me when I really needed kindness was Paris Hilton.”

“I was crying when I read that, that really touched me,” Paris shared during an appearance on Wednesday’s episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show.

The DJ continued of the pop star, “She’s just so strong, I love her so much and I’m just so proud of her for speaking her truth and writing this whole book. That quote meant a lot to me when I read it.”

Britney and Paris, who were often photographed partying together in the early 2000s, have been friends for a number of years. According to reports, Paris was one of approximately 60 people who attended Britney’s 2022 wedding to Sam Asghari, in addition to Drew Barrymore, Donatella Versace, Selena Gomez and Madonna, among others.

Paris later told Entertainment Tonight of the wedding, “It was just such a beautiful, intimate affair and it was unforgettable, and a fairy tale and I was just so proud to be there for her.”
