The Lucien-L’Allier Exo train station is scheduled to close for renovations from April 1 until 2025.
The terminus connects three train lines, 11 Vaudreuil/Hudson, 12 Saint-Jérôme and 14 Candiac making it the busiest station in the Exo network.
The Exo website states that the goal of the project is to renovate all four platforms at the station, extend line 6 to enhance traffic flow, and introduce two emergency exits on Argyle and De la Montagne streets, among other things.
A temporary fare reduction has been set up by the ARTM for commuters who use train services to or from Lucien-L’Allier station.
Due to the closure of Lucien L’Allier station, here are the travel alternatives you should be aware of:
- Line 11 Vaudreuil/Hudson will now stop at Vendôme station, allowing passengers to transfer to the Vendôme metro on the orange line for their onward journey. The line 11 Vaudreuil/Hudson trains will resume service at Lucien-L’Allier station after the completion of works in Fall 2024.
- For line 12 Saint-Jérôme, trains on this line will make a stop at Parc station, where passengers can connect to the Parc métro.
- Starting April 1, Line 14 Candiac will also make a stop at Vendôme station.
- Both line 12 and 14 are expected to return to Lucien L’Allier by the end of April 2025.
The work at Lucien-L’Allier station is expected to be completed by summer 2025.
