If you’ve always dreamed of experiencing New Orleans music street parties but have never visited the infamous city, don’t fret! Montreal’s Lachine borough is hosting a new festival this weekend that will almost feel like you’re visiting NOLA.
With art, entertainment, games, and more, “Dame Festive: Musique de Rue” will truly transport you into a new universe. The music program, headlined by The Royal Pickles and Danny Rebel & The KGB, will feature 15 performances spanning genres from jazz to reggae.
Besides the artistic side of the festival, there will be restaurants, microbreweries, and more for you to discover!
Dame Festive is happening all weekend from 11am to 10pm on Saturday, May 25, and 11am to 8pm on Sunday, May 26. Entry to the festival and the concerts is completely free!
