If you're looking for a colourful way to celebrate the official beginning of summer, the Old Port has the perfect event for you!

Inspired by an ancient tradition from India, this family-friendly celebration offers a unique opportunity to have fun by (gently) throwing coloured powder at each other when the signal is given.

The event will feature a mix of mainstream and Indian music, with dance groups, DJs, live musicians, and more!

There will be a variety of booths offering souvenirs and henna tattoos, as well as a bouncy castle area for kids to enjoy!

The Festival of Colours 2024 will take place on Saturday, June 22, at the Quai de l’Horloge in Montreal’s Old Port.

You can buy tickets online now, starting at $31.95 for adults. Kids under 12 can attend for free.

For more information, visit the event’s website here.
