Downtown Montreal is getting a new free skating rink this February!

Talk about exciting news for the new year! Downtown Montreal is opening a brand-new, completely free skating rink, the Patinoire sous l’Anneau, on February 27, 2026.

Located under the Ring on Esplanade Place Ville-Marie, this will be its first season, running until March 29, 2026.

If you don't have skates, rentals will be available on site, and hot drinks will also be offered to keep you warm!
