Have you purchased tickets for a concert, sporting event, or show through Ticketmaster while living in Quebec since 2021? If so, you could be part of a newly authorized class action lawsuit regarding "abusive" service fees.

On January 5, 2026, the Quebec Superior Court authorized a class action against Ticketmaster. 

The lawsuit alleges that the company’s service fees are "excessive, unreasonable, and disproportionate.”

Who is included? You may be part of this class action if you:

  • Have lived in Quebec since July 26, 2021.
  • Purchased tickets through Ticketmaster’s website, mobile app, or box office for any event held in North America.

If you believe you are affected, you can register through here. You will need to provide details about your ticket purchases which include dates, events, locations, ticket prices and fees paid.
