As a new month approaches, STM maintenance workers are preparing for another potential strike. This would mark the fifth strike authorized by the Tribunal administratif du travail.

In a recent interview with The Gazette, Bruno Jeanotte, president of the Syndicat du transport de Montréal, confirmed he is meeting with the Tribunal to seek authorization for the walkout. The union is pushing for improved working conditions in the wake of significant STM budget cuts.

While the union's plans move forward, Montrealers are left hoping the disruptions won't derail their daily commutes in the coming weeks.
