Heads up to all drivers this fall, there will be some roadwork that you might want to be aware of in the city!
Mobility Montréal announced the main projects that will cause major traffic disruptions in the fall of 2026.
Some of the main areas to watch out for this fall are in the southwest of Montreal, where work will happen on the Victoria Bridge. There will also be a complete closure of the northbound Samuel De Champlain Bridge for the weekend of August 28.
Downtown Montreal will also have construction work going on, especially on Guy Street and near the Berri-UQAM metro station.
Additionally, there will be more construction for the extension of the blue line of the metro, and finally, repairs to the underpass on Papineau Street.
