Our favourite British boy (ok fine, our social media girl might be a little biased) is currently performing in New York City for his Together Together Tour and to celebrate that, we are crowning "American Girls" by Harry Styles as this week’s Beat of the Week!
The song is part of his fourth studio album Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally and was written by Styles alongside Kid Harpoon and Tyler Johnson.
The song was released as the second single on March 6, 2026 and peaked within the top ten of the charts in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, many more and of course… Canada!
Styles admitted in an interview that he had taken inspiration for "American Girls" after seeing three of his close friends getting married and wanting to settle down himself in the near future.
