With a particularly busy holiday season approaching, the Montreal Airport (YUL) has shared important tips for all travelers to ensure a smooth journey.

Plan for Extra Time

Due to ongoing changes at the airport, YUL strongly recommends that passengers arrive at the airport at least three hours before their flight's scheduled departure time, regardless of the destination.

Parking and Drop-Off

  • Parking: Check parking availability in advance. The multi-level facility and P5 Econo Parc are closed, which has significantly reduced the number of available spots.
  • Drop-Off: To avoid traffic congestion, ask your driver to use the Express drop-off locations, which are free. These are located near the P4 parking facility or P10 (which includes a five-minute shuttle to the terminal).

Flight Status & Transport

The airport encourages you to confirm the status and schedule of your flight before leaving for the airport. Many public transport options, such as the airport bus from Lionel-Groulx station, are available.
